Peaches & Cream French Toast

It's a little late and the season is almost over..but I have been totally in love with the summer season this year. Yes, there is no summer in Singapore, but what I'm referring to is the summer produce!

Yes, I have been totally won over by all the summer produce in the supermarkets and my favourite fruit store at Tiong Bahru! Peaches, apricots, plums, cherries..STONE FRUITS GALORE! Love all the pretty colours, and they all just burst with freshness..makes me totally wanna go overseas to their farmers' market and all to see and buy all the fresh produce!

Needless to say, I ended up buying lots of fruits and so I decided to make this:

Peaches & Cream French Toast
Brioche Bread (3 slices) - Got mine from Tiong Bahru Bakery, you could try to bake your own bread as well
Egg (1 large or 2 small)
Peach (1 large or 2 small)
Pure Cream (3 tbsp)
Butter (1 tbsp)
Salt (as you desire)
Maple Syrup (as you desire)
Icing Sugar (as you desire)

1. Slice bread
2. Beat eggs and season with salt
3. Dip bread into eggs
4. Heat frying pan, melt butter so that it coats the entire pan
5. Add the soaked bread and fry till golden brown, dish out
6. Slice peaches while letting the bread cool down
7. Spread cream over the bread and add sliced peaches
8. Stack them up
9. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with icing sugar. Serve warm.
