March [ in pictures ]

March has come and gone just like that. As you can see from the pictures, I did quite a bit of nomming there and as a result, I’ve been gaining weight :( but well, hopefully it won’t get out of hand as I’ve been trying to exercise. 

The days during March were pretty routine. Didn’t really do much as half the time I was feeling very lethargic and was not feeling well enough nor had much mood to do anything. As a result, this blog has been pretty empty as well. I’m hoping to get back on track with things..with life in general.

As mentioned in the previous month, Kaitlin has been going through an “uncontrollable phase”. She’s been having quite a mind of her own and as such she hasn’t been listening much to what I tell her and rebels. Well, it’s getting better *touch wood* so hopefully this phase will be over soon. In the meantime, I got to remind myself to “Keep Calm and Mother On’. 

This month I was happy to catch up with friends a little here and there. Something that’s so hard to do when everyone is so busy and have conflicting schedules! We are all at different stages of life - studying, working, to be able to meet up is great :) Glad to have been able to bring Kaitlin to have some fun at the March Monster Mash at Gardens By The Bay during the March Holidays too. Not forgetting, that I managed to run to the Marina area to admire the beautiful skyline. It’s been something that I’ve wanted to do for quite some time now so I was very happy when I did, and I want to do it again! t’s quite hard to explain..but being there seeing the skyline at night, without a crowd can be so therapeutic. It doesn’t exactly take away all my worries or give me answers/solutions to my problems, but I feel little a more zen there. Plus, the lights are so pretty, and I always love to look at pretty lights which is not something that I can often do nowadays. Hopefully the next time I do it I won’t have to rush home to sleep, cos this time when I did it it was a weekday and I had to wakey early to send Kaitlin to school. I ended up feeling super sleep deprived cos while I was initially tired, for some reason after running I wasn’t tired anymore so I wasn’t able to sleep well. 

I hope I will be able to do more things in April, like cross out more things on my to-do list. Of course, with that said, I hope I can make myself feel more motivated!
